The school in Jalapa Guatemala will not have snow but it is starting in some cold weather.  Lee Rickenback writes the following:

Good chilly Monday morning from Jalapa…

Miami set a low temp record of 35 Sat. night.  Jalapa was 48 this a.m. but a 15-20 mph wind made it feel like the low 30s. Maybe with “global warming” we’re starting into a equatorial icecaps and polar rain forests!

Tues. eveving, we had our first parent conference of the New Year for the Academy.  We’ll only have 5 new ones this year with the limited space, but we thank the Lord for another year to train little minds and little hearts for the Kingdom.  One problematic child last year from a home where both parents work improved socially throughout the school year and during the vacation break has developed a better relation with his older brother.  His parents were thrilled and so were we.  Biblical values impact the whole being!

Please continue to pray for the school in Jalapa.  The enemy will do his best to derail anything that honors God.
