Good morning Americas…

There is much for which to praise the LORD every day!  One thing that motivates my mind these days is that almost 50 years ago someone was Osama bin Laden’s teacher, someone in the Saudi university molded his mind.  How will I mold the minds of our twenty-seven CEBE kids today and how will they mold and influence others in the future?

Osama, the seventeenth of fifty-four children of one future billionaire father and no one knows how many wives, had a different socio-politico-ecclesiactico landscape than a boy back in the 1700′s who was the fifteenth of nineteen children by the same Dad and the same Mom, John Wesley.  But they both had souls and the ability to hear the voice of God.  One founded “the Base – al Qaeda”, the other “an Anglican fringe movement, the Methodists.”  Both believed in Holy War, but based on a different Book.  The former caused the death of multiplied thousands, the other the salvation of multiplied millions over the last almost 300 years.  The former died by a bullet at the hands of those he hated, the other died blessed in the arms of His Savior!  Sharp comparisons and sharp contrasts! Selah!

Not only am I trying to fill Jay’s shoes these days (never could after he was 12, ha!) as fill-in Academy pastor, but our lady director has been out for health reasons the last several days, so also have been fill-in director… never a dull moment especially with some seven and eight year old “coil springs” ready to uncoil at any moment.
