Lectures in Egypt
Good morning Las Americas…
Happy Valentine’s Day to all. The Week as I refer to it is only known to those of us who have done the 36 class hour week and endured to the end. Though intensive, it is enjoyable to be with the pastors again and help them prepare to be better workers for the Kingdom. This last week I used Dr. Frank Garlock’s nine presentations on Contemporary Christian Rock Music in Spanish. I highly recommend it for all our Hispanic Fields. It is not only scholarly, but practical. It gives us tools to truly inform our people of what is happening right now in our churches and how MCC is affecting the spiritual level in an incredibly negative way, especially among our youth.
Along with the Profesorado, Shari and I also got in our regular ESL classes which made The Week even more intensive, but He gave strength and now I will happily look forward to the coming of others to share in the next four classes of the year.
I’m writing from the Capital this morning as the Academy is having a special Valentine’s party today instead of our ESL classes giving us a break and allowing us to catch up on some matters here.
Have a great day and week, and don’t forget something special for that special valentine today and everyday! God bless.
